What is a coach?
As a coach, I help you bridge the gap between what you have and what you want to achieve in your personal relationships.  A coach recognizes that nobody knows your life better than you do, and exists to facilitate and hold space for you set your goals, create an action plan, and release anything that’s blocking you from achieving your dreams. In “coach mode” I will rarely (if ever) offer unsolicited advice; but I will help you unlock the answers that already exist within you.

What is a mentor?
As a mentor, I can and will offer advice, support, and gentle guidance in your journey of personal growth. I may share a personally relatable experience or resources from time to time, but my method is one that blends coaching and mentoring to offer suggestions or alternate ideas and perspectives, rather than dictate your next course of action to you.

Coaching and Mentoring each have their own benefits and drawbacks, and the choice on which “mode” you want to engage with me in is up to you every time we meet.

  1. Who is the Coach / Who is the client

Your coach is [my legal name], ELI-MP (a.k.a. Phoebe Philips) of [My Company Name].  I have undergone extensive training through iPEC, an accredited coaching education program with the International Federation of Coaches (IFC).  For transparency, please note that I have not yet taken the final exam an earned the CPC credential; but have completed all the requisite training. 

The “Client” is the person(s) who is receiving coaching and/or mentoring from me.  In the case of a couple utilizing the package together, the client is the one in an active session with me.  When two or more are present, you are all the client.

  1. Confidentiality

The coach/mentor promises the client that all information provided to the coach/mentor will be kept strictly confidential as allowed by law. Throughout the working relationship the coach/mentor will engage in direct and personal conversations. The client can count on the coach/mentor to be honest and straightforward in asking questions and making requests. The client understands that the power of the coaching relationship can only be granted by the client and the client agrees to do just that—have the coaching relationship to be powerful. If the client believes that coaching is not working as desired, the client will immediately communicate that to the coach/mentor and both will take action to remedy the situation.

In the case of two or more individuals utilizing the package together, the confidentiality of what is said during an individual session will be strictly maintained unless the client gives the coach/mentor permission to share the information with their partner(s) during an individual or group session.

Client agrees to maintain confidentiality of Coach’s legal name, including on all social media profiles for “Phoebe Philips” and/or “Polyammering.”

Recording of sessions: Under certain conditions, the Coach may elect to record a session with a new or returning client for a number of reasons including but not limited to: coach self-assessment and personal safety. Clients will always be made aware when a session is being recorded, and recorded sessions will be promptly deleted once the coach has completed her review process. Client understands that any captured evidence of sexual harassment or misconduct between the coach and client that is captured via recorded session or other correspondence will be retained as evidence for legal proceedings.

  1. Fee Structure, Payment, and Scheduling Protocol

Package and a la carte sessions are to be paid in advance. For custom packages, an invoice will be prepared and sent via paypal invoicing. For standard pricing, the client (or the person paying for the client’s sessions) may pre-pay unscheduled sessions through The Coaching Shoppe or pay and schedule simultaneously via

  • The Coaching Shoppe at – to submit payment for an ELI Assesment and Debrief, Individual Coaching Packages, or unscheduled Individual and Group a-la-carte sessions
  • Polyammering on Calendly – to schedule complimentary initial consultations (for first time clients only), or purchase and schedule a-la-carte individual and group sessions.
  • Scheduling, Cancellations, Refund and Termination Policy

For Packages: Scheduling sessions will be made in good faith between the client and the coach.  Clients may use the polyammering scheduling page via calendly to schedule sessions that have been pre-paid. One last minute cancellation will be accepted without penalty.  Cancellations made within 12 hours thereafter will count as a session used, and a fee equal to the package per session price will be charged add an additional session to the package at client’s request. Rescheduling with more than 12 hours’ notice will not result in any penalty.

Coaching packages are discounted from the a-la-carte coaching session. Should the coaching agreement be dissolved prior to completion, a pro-rated refund will be provided based upon the subtraction of hours used at the current a-la-carte rate of $120 per hour.

For a-la-carte Sessions: Scheduling sessions will be made in good faith between the client and the coach.  Clients may use the polyammering scheduling page via calendly to purchase and schedule a-la-carte sessions. One last minute cancellation will be accepted and rescheduled or refunded without penalty.  Thereafter, cancellations made within 12 hours of a scheduled session will be counted as a session used and client will not receive a refund. Rescheduling with more 12 hours’ notice will not result in any penalty.

For ELI Debriefs: The cost of the ELI debrief is included in the purchase of the assessment. There is no penalty for rescheduling a debrief at any time. However, debrief sessions generally run anywhere from one to two hours. Once the debrief has started it cannot be paused and resumed at a later time except in the case of extreme emergency. There are no refunds for the ELI Assessment and Debrief once the assessment has been taken.

For Complimentary Consultations: Scheduling complimentary consultations will be made in good faith between the client and the coach.  Clients may use the polyammering scheduling page via calendly to schedule a-la-carte sessions. One last-minute cancellation (less than 12 hours notice) is eligible for rescheduling your complimentary consultation without penalty. Any subsequent last minute cancellations will require a non-refundable pre-payment of $75 for the initial consultation.

Sexual harassment and misconduct: Coach has a zero tolerance policy for sexual harassment or misconduct. Any attempt to cross ethical boundaries of the coach and client relationship will result in the immediate termination of the coaching agreement without refund. Such attempts include: inappropriate exposure or sexual behavior during voice, video chat, or text/email/social media correspondence and/or repeated attempts to gain access to coach’s private and/or personal social media accounts.

Coach and/or Client have the right to terminate the agreement at any time if they feel their personal space and/or safety may compromised.
