I have a pattern. A type. It’s the type that recognizes my value but doesn’t want to realize it. I am equity in real estate. A robust stock portfolio.
A safety net.
I once had a lover tell me to make him feel loved.
I think it was one of the most vulnerable moments any partner of mine has ever shown me (other than the one who married me).
And I’m a good girl, so I did make him feel loved. I did it by loving him.
When you liquidate your stock portfolio or take out an equity line and blow it on a 5-star vacation instead of reinvesting it, you’ll find it eventually depleted.
Money doesn’t grow on trees.
Love doesn’t, either.
